Meet Taquito

Taquito (5 years old) Taquito is a large orange tabby with a beautiful chunky face and head. He also has a delightfully earnest expression to go along with his pale green eyes. This big fellow is not only affectionate but comes right up to people to say hello.  At the moment, he’s a bit apprehensive about the other cats in his room, especially the lively in-your-face youngsters who don’t respect his space. His apprehensiveness might be because he is unsure about being in the shelter. What Taquito truly craves is some regular, loving attention from people; he spent one of his earlier nine lives in a situation where he was alone too much, and the loneliness didn’t suit him. He’s good with kids and dogs, so a more animated household with plenty of company would probably be  just fine with Taquito.

Adoption Process
http://catscradleshelter.org/CCS/how-to-adopt/ An interview with the executive director is done prior to adoption. Not everyone is approved to adopt. Those that are approved have the cat for a 3 week trial period, where they can return cat and get a refund. Beyond that, we always want our cats back if the adoptive household can no longer care for it, but after 3 weeks, the adoption fee is not refunded. An adoption contract is completed prior to final adoption. Adoption fees are $118 including tax.
