Meet Button
Button is a cute short-haired gray tabby and white female kitten about 3 months old (DOB about 9/15/24). She was named Button because she is cute as a button! She is VERY playful and active. Button loves to play with toys or other cats and is never bored. She likes to be held. She loves playing with her feline friends in her foster home, and we think she’d also do well with dogs and kids. While Button is sweet and loving, she takes time to build confidence with humans she’s not familiar with. She can be a bit shy at first and will need a family who is patient and understanding as she adjusts to her new environment. But the wait is worth it — once she feels comfortable, Button will shower you with love and affection. Button is negative for feline leukemia and aids, had two distemper vaccines, and been spayed. The additional vaccines (the third distemper and rabies) are included in the adoption fee. Preference will be given to We are looking for an adopter who has a young playmate/companion for the Button. We typically do not adopt kittens less than 6 months old to homes where they will be a solo pet, and we do not believe that Button will do well as a solo pet. If you’re ready to give this special kitten a little time to settle in and receive lots of love in return, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or [email protected]. Button can’t wait to meet her perfect match!
Adoption Process
Potential adopters are required to complete our application before adoption. Our adoption fee varies based on the age and breed of the cat. The fee includes testing for feline leukemia and aids, the series of distemper vaccines, the rabies vaccines, wormings, advantage so they are flea free when you take them home, a veterinary exam, and the spay or neuter. Microchipping is available for an additional $45. The adoption fee is waived for qualifying adopters interested in one of our sponsored cats.
At the time of adoption, adopters must sign a contract indicating their willingness to obtain all remaining vaccinations, treatments, and spay or neuter. If a placement doesn't work out (e.g., a family member discovers he/she is allergic), the animal is returned to the Stray Connection and re-adopted.
