Meet Kye

Kye is a 6-month-old kitten who is as cuddly and loving as he is playful and sweet. He got along very well with dogs in his first adoptive home and with Noodle, another teenage kitty in his foster home!  His original owner is now travelling a lot for work so he has found his way back to us to find his true forever home. His favorite things to do include laying on your neck and trying to trip you when you walk just so you’ll pet him. He is not shy when it comes to telling you he is hungry and will meow somberly at you until you fill his bowl. At night he will sleep curled in a ball next to you or under your covers. He loves to lay in front of the window and soak in the sun, and if you have a dog bed….he would prefer to make it his. While he is playful, he doesn’t have any scratching or biting problems, in fact he’s more of a trickster when it comes to playing. He does love toys, his most beloved toy is not a cat toy though… it is any string that happens to be around.  Kye has had some persistent respiratory symptoms that can affect his eyes and nasal cavity.  This is possibly Feline Herpes Virus but is unconfirmed.  His third eyelid is exposed at times when he has flare ups.  He responded well to a course of Famciclovir viral medication during his most recent flare up.  Meet Kye at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4pm on Saturday during our weekly adoption event.  All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.  Apply to adopt to be the first to schedule a meet and greet.
