Meet Sprinkles 2.0 aka Gramma Sprinkles

Sprinkles 2.0 aka Gramma Sprinkles is quiet the character! Are you looking for a gal with sass? Gramma will let you know what she likes and what she doesn't like. She can be particularly vocal when she is ready for her mid-morning snack of Bisque! This gal has that attitude and face that says she has dealt with a lot and has an interesting history, but she's not telling it. Gramma Sprinkles has grown accustomed to living the good life and enjoys being pampered. She finally has all the things a cat should have; yummy food, a cozy bed and toys. Sprinkles LOVES to nap and really likes treats, especially Hartz Delectables Bisque. She is also playful especially with soft toys and springs. Gramma Sprinkles is affectionate, and loves get her chin scratched and some pets too; but she is not fond of being picked up or held at this time. She is beginning to enjoy being brushed. She is fine with other cats and friendly dogs that give her space. This spunky lady is looking for a home where she can continue living the good life, is it with you? Gramma Sprinkles is 5 to 8 years old and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Our adoption fee ($75 for cats 1 year and over or $100 for kittens) includes a free vet visit with one of our participating vets. All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinated for rabies and distemper and have been treated, if necessary, for fleas and parasites. We are doing adoptions by appointment only due to Covid. We recommend filling out an adoption application first; then you can be pre-approved before your appointment. This way if you find a cat/kitten that you connect with, you can take them home the same day. Applications can be found here: http://schuylerhumane.org/cat-adoption/ Visit us on line at www.schuylerhumane.org for additional information, an adoption application, to see more adoptable dogs and cats or for directions to our shelter.

Adoption Process
Filling out an application for adoption. This can be done online or at the shelter. We call landlord if they rent to make sure they are permitted to have a pet. We do a veterinarian check if they have other pets to ensure the animals are up to date with vaccinations and receive annual wellness exams. All family members need to meet the animal to ensure it is a good match. Cat adoption fee is $85; Kittens are $100. Dog adoption fee is $200; Puppies are $250 All details are on our webpage: https://schuylerhumane.org/cat-adoption/ https://schuylerhumane.org/dog-adoption/
