Meet Mocha

Mocha is the sweetest little cat rescued from a bodega basement. She has some trauma from her past and we don't know exactly what it is, but she gets really scared if you move too fast, or talk too loud, etc. She is making amazing progress every day in her foster home and is ready to find a family willing to let her grow on her own timeline. She will entertain you, and play with you. She will enjoy being pet and brushed. She absolutely loves gazing out the window. And she is very photogenic! We don't know what happened in her past to make her so skittish but we are so proud of her for finding her confidence every day. We think she could do well as a 2nd cat (she had other cat friends in the basement) or as a single with someone who can dedicate a lot of time to her!

Adoption Process
1- Please fill out pre-adoption application 2- Kelly our director will contact you to talk about the application and then will call references. Once an application is received we can also set up a meeting in the foster home. 3- virtual or in person home visit to make sure residence is safe for cats. 4- Adoption fee of $150 per cat/kitten along with signing adoption forms.
