American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) was the first humane society to be established in North America and is, today, one of the largest in the world. Our organization was founded by Henry Bergh in 1866 on the belief that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans, and must be protected under the law. Headquartered in New York City, the ASPCA maintains a strong local presence, and with programs that extend our anti-cruelty mission across the country, we are recognized as a national animal welfare organization. We are a privately funded 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, and proud to boast more than 1 million supporters across the country.

Meet Waldorf

If we were to list all the great things about our cat friend Waldorf, we’d be here all day! So we’ll keep it short and sweet, just like him! Waldorf’s adorable looks are only matched by his affection, and he will be sure to shower you with love! He’s a happy, handsome fella who loves to roam around the home and keep you company as you go about your day. Waldorf is a hunk o’ love who is a big fan of pets and chin scratches, and if he hears the crinkle of a treat bag, he just pad his way over to you. Needless to say, he loves to get cozy with his favorite people, and he can’t wait to show you his award-winning smile and personality! Waldorf would probably be a good fit for most families. Waldorf has previously lived well with other cats, but he needs a home without dogs. An Admissions and Placement Specialist will be able to provide you with information about Waldorf’s medical needs. An Admissions and Placement Specialist can give you tips to help set Waldorf up for success in your home! If you’re ready to open your home and heart to this big guy, click the “Adopt Me” button now to submit an application for Waldorf here - https://adopt.adopets.com/pet/d12d5300-d0c7-4b1b-b956-a402a4d4430a   *The ASPCA Adoption Center encourages a $150 suggested adoption fee when adopting an animal. This suggested adoption fee allows the ASPCA to continue our lifesaving work and help even more animals in need. We are grateful for any and all amounts given at the time of adoption.*
