Meet Princess

Hi, my name is Princess. I was living happily with my elderly person, but then she was gone. Her family took care of me for as long as they could, but circumstances changed and they needed to surrender me to the shelter. I'm looking to have a simple life in a quiet indoor home. I’d love to have another calm quiet feline to hang out with. I need a person or family who will understand that I'll need a lot of time to adjust. I enjoy bird watching, catnip and catnip toys, the turbo track and love Temptation treats. I would enjoy being a house cat again if you understand that I may be a companion from a bit of a distance. Princess is 5 to 6 years old and tested negative for FIV & FeLV. Our adoption fee ($75 for cats 1 year and over or $100 for kittens) includes a free vet visit with one of our participating vets. All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinated for rabies and distemper and have been treated, if necessary, for fleas and parasites. We are doing adoptions by appointment only due to Covid. We recommend filling out an adoption application first; then you can be pre-approved before your appointment. This way if you find a cat/kitten that you connect with, you can take them home the same day. Adoption Process
Filling out an application for adoption. This can be done online or at the shelter. We call landlord if they rent to make sure they are permitted to have a pet. We do a veterinarian check if they have other pets to ensure the animals are up to date with vaccinations and receive annual wellness exams. All family members need to meet the animal to ensure it is a good match. Cat adoption fee is $85; Kittens are $100.
