Meet Conan

DOB: 9/15/2023 Conan is a spunky young guy with a LOT of purrrrrpinions! He would love to be part of the action in a home with someone who can give him plenty of attention.   Upon intake, we quickly noticed that his digestive system was not working quite properly. He was diagnosed with a perineal hernia, making it easy for him to become constipated. This has been controlled very well with a special diet and daily supplements. It is unknown if he will need corrective surgery in the future, and it is important for his furever family to be prepared for that possibility.    Conan loves to be petted and give lots of headbumps. He always needs lots of forehead kisses and lovins! He will be a wonderful, loyal companion to the right cat parents. When he gets frustrated (usually because his foster mom is leaving the room but he wants more attention), he does use his teeth to express his displeasure. For this reason, we believe he will do best in a home without young children.    Conan has tested positive for FIV. While it is possible for FIV positive cats to live alongside other cats without transmitting the virus, we do encourage potential adopters to do their own research and discuss best practices with their veterinarian. He has previously lived with other cats, and seems to like them!   Do you need advice? A conversation partner? A snuggle buddy? Someone to follow you around? Apply to adopt Conan and bring this special guy into your life!   Conan is also available for foster to adopt, as he would benefit greatly from finding a better place to live while he continues his search for his furever family (his current foster mom loves him very much, but her house is bursting with high-needs kitties!)   This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.
