Meet Laverne

DOB:  08/13/24   Hi, my name is Laverne and I am a beautiful calico kitty girl with pretty markings and a black-tipped tail. I even have calico toe beans! When I was younger, my brother and I had some health issues that required some special care. After we got healthy, we came to our foster mama's home and have been learning how to interact with adult cats and humans.    I LOVE to run and play with the big cats, my brother, and toys. I'm super fast and can make pretty much anything into a cat toy. When I want your attention I have a good strong meow and am not shy about using it. Food is a big motivator for me. If you pick me up I will melt into your arms and I do like to be petted, though I am still a bit shy if you come directly toward me. I'm not yet a lap cat, but I will let you pet my belly with no fuss or claws.   I'd be great in a home with other cats. I've not had experience with dogs, but I may just need a little time because I've done well with the big adult cats in my foster home. I have a very sweet temperament and haven't met a human I don't like yet!   Apply to adopt me today!     This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.
