Meet Sir

Sir is an enigma wrapped in 2 lbs of tabby fur. It has been a very amusing journey raising him. He is named Sir because most things he does makes us exclaim “My good Sir! What are you doing!” When he was about 4 weeks old, he decided overnight he was going to exclusively use litter to do his business. Before that, any attempts at making him use litter were futile. When he was 6-ish weeks old, he decided overnight he was a big boy and would not be bottle fed. Before that, any attempts to wean him off the bottle were met with severe irritation. Sir's daily schedule involves waking up, waiting to be let out of his pen, eating, and then heading over to the 4 older cats he lives with to have bouts of playful wrestling. At some point, he will find a suitable human with a fluffy blanket to suddenly fall asleep on. Rinse and repeat through the day. It is a busy life Sir leads. Sir expresses his displeasure by nibbling – fingers, nose, face – of cats and humans alike. He likes being picked up when he is about to sleep, but you should have a very very good excuse and appropriate paperwork to pick him up when he is on his zoomie runs (so don’t). As mentioned above, Sir is good with older cats. He has not been around dogs or children, but if treated with the appropriate respect that Sir demands, he will be okay with dogs and older children. He is an energetic kitten and would do well to have another cat/kitten as a playmate Keller's Kats Rescue Inc. is a registered 501c3  non-profit, volunteer run, no-kill rescue group that provides foster homes for homeless, abused or abandoned animals facing euthanasia.
