We are not able to reply to DMs, emails or inquiries made through 3rd party pet adoption websites.*Age: adult, approximately 6.5 years old as of 4/15/2024*Temperament: affectionate, sassy, playful, loves to loungeMeet Barley, the CEO of her foster home! She's a confident Boss Lady who might seem a little reserved at first, but once she feels you're a good fit for the job is affectionate and playful. Just this week she discovered how fun it is to leap to the top of the fridge and keep watch over her minions. Just don't be late serving dinner! The Boss Lady will let you know she's hungry by vocalizing her displeasure with your job performance! Despite being a business-minded professional, Barley is starting to feel comfortable and happy enough in her leadership position to enjoy toys and playing. She knows how to relax too, and after a hard day of work keeping her human company, loves laying on the floor scratcher after dinner. She also cares very deeply about her beauty sleep & naps with her foster mom on the bed (she is a very considerate sleeping buddy!).With her regular human employees, Barley turns into a real softie and face/neck scritches are one surefire way to get a promotion with this Boss Lady. When she purrs like crazy and is really feeling the love you know you have a nice bonus coming up which, if you know cats, sometimes means you'll be getting a love nibble :) Overall, Barley is a huge sweetheart with a big personality and would do best in a house where she is the only feline so she can relax and rule over her domain and human(s) the way a proper head of household should!Barley is on a special, limited-ingredient diet due to food allergies. To meet or adopt Barley, please submit a Q&A for her on our website: https://goodhomepetadoptions.org/adopt!-------GOOD HOME is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
