Meet “Ayla” Tux the cuddlebug

Ayla is a stunning long haired tuxedo girl . The people that rescued her called her Tux, but we thought the name Ayla- for moonlight was more fitting of this gorgeous , affectionate girl so we combined them! Ayla is a lover of humans , she wants nothing more than human attention to either cuddle with or play with. We rescued her from a Bronx neighborhood where she had been wandering quite a while with increasingly matted fur. The outdoors is incredibly hard on long haired cats and we knew we needed to give her a chance inside . The moment she got inside she was all purrs , and biscuits and tiny meows . As if to say “thank you” . She’s a young girl at maybe 2 years old , but it’s hard to know for certain. Ayla is now spayed , healthy , negative for FIV and FELV, vaccinated , microchipped, and treated for potential parasites and/or fleas.  She would be best as the queen of your castle with no other cats . We don’t know what happened to her in the past but, unspayed females go through so much outside and we think maybe other cats scare her now and she just wants a quiet , loving home to give her lots of play and cuddles . Adoption Process
We wish to place cats only in secure, safe, stable, loving homes, and we are very careful in our review of the applications. Potential Pet-parents fill out an Adoption Application, we review the application, call the applicant, schedule a time for them to visit our cats. We check their references, call their veterinarian, and verify that their backup person who would take the cats if something happened to the adopter is on board. Then a Foster Agreement is completed. When all parties are happy, after about 2 weeks, we have the finalized Adoption Agreement sent to us.
