Furrever Friends Rescue & Volunteers, Inc.

Furrever Friends Rescue and Volunteers, Inc. (FFRV) is an all-volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit that strives to save the lives of homeless animals. We work hard to provide safe, loving care in private homes until a furrever family can be found. We spay/neuter and vaccinate pets prior to adoption to help control the pet overpopulation problem. We find new, “Furrever Homes” for animals only after carefully screening potential adopters. We raise funds through special events and projects to cover veterinary and food costs. We fund emergency medical care to injured or abused animals in the FFRV program through “Geronimo’s Fund“.We showcase homeless animals at various venues to help find them homes, including our PetSmart Adoption Center in Deptford, NJ. We also conduct TNR for community/feral cats.

Meet BJ

Hello, I'm BJ, or as they lovingly call me, baby Jug. I've got brains and brawn, and independence to boot. I once used my smarts to open a tuna can. Unfortunately, it was the shelter's lunch, not mine! They didn't mind though, they just laughed and patted me on the head. My loyalty runs deep, I'll always be by your side, even if you're just going to the fridge. I've got a mysterious streak, but don't we all have secrets? Like the time I accidentally turned on the shelter's sprinkler system... but that's a story for another day. Adopt me, and let's make our own hilarious memories together!

Adoption Process
Applicants must complete an application that includes three references. After a phone interview with the applicant and the three references (one of which is a vet reference) the applicant is approved (or denied and an email is sent explaining why they were not approved). Our adoption fee is $90 and adopters sign an adoption contract.
