Sweet Phil is ready for his forever home! After living on the street for at least three years, this gorgeous tuxedo is absolutely loving the VIP indoor cat life. Phil was the king of his colony when outside, and now he’s the king of his foster parents' hearts. Weighing in at 16 pounds, this big guy has a lot of love to give. He starts purring the second you give him any pets or butt scritches, and he loves his daily brushing session to help keep him looking fabulous. Phil has enjoyed being introduced to many different toys and he loves to wrestle with, chase and groom his foster siblings! Since he is quite chonky, keeping Phil active (and monitoring his diet) will be an important responsibility for his forever owner, as he'll hopefully be able to lose some weight so he can live as long and healthy a life as possible! Because he so loves other cats, he would do best in a home with a kitty companion to hang with. Phil adores his foster brother Herman, who is also up for adoption and listed separately! These two sweet boys certainly wouldn’t mind being adopted together! Phil has had a rough go of it so far, but he’s clearly so grateful to be inside, and we can’t wait for him to find his perfect furrever family. Phil is about 4-5 years old. He is healthy, neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. If you would like to meet Phil, please fill out our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ . Make sure you click on Phil, then identify Claire as the RESCUER and fill out the form! Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street.

We have an adoption application, an adoption fee to help us recoup a small portion of our vet bills and expenses and an adoption agreement.
