Meet Astute Atlantic

Astute Atlantic is just a little piece of soot with eyes that triggers a chorus of “awwwws” anywhere he goes. He’s an independent gentleman who enjoys his time alone, but would never miss out on sitting by your side during family movie night.  His favorite activities include lounging on the couch, lounging in his bed, and lounging under the table (basically wherever it’s warm). When he’s not observing from his perch, he’s very easy to please when it comes to finding toys. He goes nuts for sticks, strings, and wires, while always making sure he plays gently enough not to break them.  Because he’s still pretty young, Astute probably won’t initiate affection, but will gladly accept it if it’s given to him first. Although he will be quite skittish at the beginning, once he gets used to his new space, he can lounge on your lap and purr for hours while he gets pets.  While letting Astute get used to his new space, it’s best to leave him on his own to explore. Once he’s found his favorite spot, he’ll gladly sit and wait for passers by to give him pats and scritches. Astute is great with other pets, as long as they’re as mellow as he is! This cat needs to be adopted with an age-appropriate friend -- applications for them as a single kitten will not be answered.
