Meet Penny (FCID# 03/27/2024 - 36 Brandywine PS)

Very petite!  H!  My name is Penny.  I know what you're thinking - someone made a mistake, listing me as an adult!  Anyone can see I am as small as a kitten at only 5 pounds.  I'm not saying that I'm immature, but I certainly don't act like an adult, yet the vet insists that, at about 1 year-old, and that makes me an adult!  I don't know how much bigger I might get, but if you know someone whose grandmother is 4'- 9, then you'll understand.   Maybe I'm a little immature.  I am not above wrestling with my foster siblings and I don't hold back just because they actually are "kittens."  And I do childish things like drowning my toys in the water bowl - I'm not actually drowning them, I thought they'd like a drink of water.     I am, however, mature in my affection.  I love to be cuddled and sit on a lap.  If you hold me on your chest, I give Eskimo kisses.  I rub against your ankles even when it's not dinnertime.  Do not expect me to kiss on the first date though.  Since I've had some experience in life, I want to make sure that you are worthy of my affection.  Once I decide you're my "it" I will reward you with a lifetime of warmth and cuddles.     Penny will do best in home where she will have plenty of companionship.  She will thrive with other calm cats, calm dogs,  or calm or older children.  In one photo, she is with her colony friend Iris.   Penny, Iris and Goldie are playing in our Brandywine PetSmart adoption center.  Please stop by to meet them.  Thank you!  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  (Foster:  Neal Ann S.)      

Adoption Process
All cats offered for adoption have been spayed or neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, been dewormed and have received rabies and distemper inoculations. During the application process, our volunteers will check vet and rental contracts, if applicable, and personal references. Please allow up to 5 days to process your application. Every cat has received at least $400.00 worth of medical treatment. Our modest adoption fees are: $90.00 for 1 kitten $150.00 for 2 kittens $180.00 for 3 kittens $130.00 for one adult cat and one kitten $60.00 for 1 adult cat under 7 years old $90.00 for 2 adult cats under 7 years old $50.00 for 1 adult cat over 7 years old or with special needs $80.00 for 2 cats over 7 or with special needs
