Ash doesn't need to catch 'em all, he just needs to catch a break (he's already the best, like no cat ever was)! After originally being found stray and adopted by his finder back in 2022, good guy Ash was recently found stray again while also keeping company with a young momma and her kittens (which wouldn't be his, baring divine intervention, since he has been neutered for a few years). That previous adopter never responded to our contact attempts, but we did find records of them needing to move last summer so it sounds like the decision to be outside again wasn't actually his to make. All of that turmoil and upheavel has left him understandably stressed and unsure of himself, but can see the cuddly and affectionate boy he truly wants to be is bubbling right under the surface. Due to his social nature, both with other cats and with some of our staff and volunteers, Ash could do well finding a home with a variety of different options to keep him happy and active, so whether you've been looking for a friend for your cat, for your kids, or just for yourself, Ash would love the chance!
