Meet Winoc Snow Angel
Hi! I am Winoc!! I am named after a Saint - of which I totally am!! I was not always though!! I was trapped as a feral adult when my home was being sold and I was not able to stay any longer. These kind people trapped me but I was so scared. It took me about a year on the dot to finally allow petting and learn to trust hoomans, but I finally did it! I conquered my fears and just LOVE to be pet and even allow them to pick me up!! I am very progressive and smart! I will take some time to adjust in a new home and learn to trust different humans, but once I do I am a big beautiful teddy bear!! My foster mom loves my big long fluffy tail!! I would be much more comfortable in a new home if you would adopt one of my friends I am in foster with, I think I would be too scared alone. We have all beeb socialized and have grown very attached to one another, so if you could find it in your heart to love us both, that would be my wish come true!!!!I am a big, gorgeous, fluffy boy who loves to be pet. I allow picking up and handling. I get along with other cats and am fine with small disinterested dogs.
Adoption Process
Want to find a special someone to join your family? You've come to the right place. Adopt locally with us for the benefit of our community. All you need to do is fill out an adoption form and we will find a purrfect match for your family.
All of our rescues are: examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated up to date, all cats are FIV/FELV tested, dogs are Heartworm tested if age appropriate, dewormed, spayed/neutered when age appropriate and treated with flea/tick product, if needed. They also are all microchipped when they are spayed/neutered.
Once an application is completed & approved to move forward - we would set up a time for you to come and meet them in their foster home where they are comfortable. If everyone feels it is a good match for everyone, we would then schedule a home visit (required) prior to adoption. We also require a non refundable deposit of $50 per pet prior to a home visit. (To be applied toward adoption donation.)
Adoption Fees* (Cats):
$135 for a cat/kitten
Adoption Fees* (Dogs):
$500 for a puppy (under 1 year of age)
$400 for an adult dog
*There may be a special rate for adopting a bonded pair! Ask us for details!
