Meet Rufus King

“Rufus is the cutest” has become the refrain at this adorable boy’s foster home. He’s a calm and quiet cat who mostly keeps to himself during the day but loves to sleep with a human friend at night. He’s great with kids and lets you know gently when he doesn’t want his belly rubbed, but always loves scritches under his ears. Rufus isn’t shy, but he can be skittish at this point in his foster adventure—if something spooks him, he’ll find a hiding spot, but eventually he’ll come out and ask for some love again. He’s healthy, hasn’t had accidents, and isn’t a picky eater, happy with both wet and dry food. He also does just fine on the short car trips he’s taken. He is such a gentleman and will make a great companion in just about any home! This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
