Greater Derry Humane Society, Inc.

We are an all foster/all volunteer organization. If we have an open foster home that can handle the particular animal-we take it in. We vet our animals fully, including specialist consultations, etc. if needed. Our community needs a rescue that can take in animals and put them in loving foster homes.

Meet Luna

Meet Luna, a heart-stealing feline with a gentle soul and a history of loyalty. This darling cat has known the warmth of a family her whole life and carries that love into every purr and cuddle. Despite the unexpected turn of events that led her to seek a new forever home, Luna's resilience shines through. She's a testament to the adage that cats choose their humans, as evidenced by her immediate affection for her foster mom. Luna's sweet disposition extends to her canine foster sibling, with whom she's establishing boundaries of respectful curiosity. Her grace is equally apparent in her interactions with the young child of the house, though she finds a special comfort in the company of adults. Luna is a model of feline etiquette, with impeccable litter box manners and a serene temperament. If you're looking for a companion who embodies the essence of kindness and the spirit of adaptability, Luna is waiting to fill your life with gentle purrs, soft nuzzles, and the unwavering companionship only a cat like her can offer. Let Luna light up your life with her celestial charm and loving heart.
