The Cat Network, Inc.

The Cat Network is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill and life-enhancing cat rescue group. Since 1991, we have rescued and placed thousands of abandoned, abused, stray and shelter cats and kittens in St. Louis, Missouri and surrounding areas. After their rescue, the cats and kittens are provided medical care, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered. Cats and kittens are kept in foster care and then placed in loving permanent homes whenever possible.

Meet Irwin

Hi, I’m Irwin!    I was born this November and for the first few weeks of my life, I lived outside with my mom and siblings. I got rescued with my whole family right before a big snowstorm and have been learning what inside life is like ever since!   Some important stuff you should know:   I love to talk! I’m the loudest of my litter. I make sure to let everyone know if I need something. Main thing I’m looking for is lots of attention.    I have a brother and sister that I’ve looked out for my whole life. When I was outside, I was always watching for danger and made sure to keep everyone safe. My personality can seem guarded if you don’t know me well. I’m a very gentle, sensitive guy.    Since I moved into a house, I’ve become the bravest and sweetest of my siblings. I’m quite the explorer and have figured out how to escape my playpen several times. I am very lovey, I purr anytime the people who feed me are around. As soon as I see them, I like to rub on my foster mom and dad’s legs. They say it’s hard to walk around without stepping on me.    I really don’t like to be alone, so I think it’s best for me to get adopted with my little sister Edie. I’d love to get adopted with my brother Ozzie too but there’s only so much I can ask for. I might not look as cool as Edie (she only has 3 legs), or have fancy tuxedo markings like Ozzie but I do have the cutest feet of the bunch. You’ll have to meet me to see why.    I am up to date on shots and neutered. I’m ready to find a home with my sister Edie! I hope to meet you soon.

Adoption Process
Potential adopters must fill out an application. Once the application is approved, the adoption fee is $150 for kittens 6 mos and under and $125 for over 6 mos. This includes all age appropriate shots, spay/neuter, microchip and combo/snap test.
