Meet Chauncy

Chauncy is a sweetheart of a cat and is looking for a lap to keep warm.  He was living outside as a stray until a kind couple took him in and cared for him until rescue could be found.  He is a stunning mini house panther with soft fur and gorgeous green eyes.  He did test positive for FIV, but it's not that big of a deal.  He can live a long, healthy life with good care, and it can only be spread to other cats via a deep bite wound.  Fortunately, Chauncy is a lover, not a fighter, and he gets along great with other kitties so he can live with non-FIV cats without worry.  This boy is such a love bug and has a heart of gold.  He's very docile, gentle and quiet and is just grateful to have someone to love and care for him.  He enjoys canned food immensely and has discovered the joy of toys and comfy beds.  He has a soft, quiet purr and it's running as soon as you pet him.  Chauncy would love to be in a home with another friendly, mellow cat friend.  Not sure about dogs but older, calm kids are fine. He's neutered, chipped and current on vaccines - DOB 3/1/2021 (tag 14335JB).

Adoption Process
the first step in our process is an application. The questions on the application are designed to determine if the pet would be a good fit in this home. We contact the applicant’s veterinarian to verify they have a good history of previous (or current) pet care. We meet the applicant at Petsmart or at their home to allow them to interact with the pet they are interested in adopting. If all goes well the adoption is finalized. We have an adoption contract, requiring regular vet care, indoor homes, return to us if it doesn’t work out, etc. Our dog adoption fee is $175, cats range from $80 for older cats to $125 for kittens

Look for other cats for adoption!
