In the past year, Dom lost everything and everyone he has known when his previous owner became homeless. He even lost his cat mom, living side by side with her from a kitten to an adult─mother and son─until homelessness ended their story. So Dom needs a new home and family that he can count on to be there for him for the rest of his life. Please, no more abandonment for this sweet boy. While Dom could live successfully as an only pet, he would enjoy having a cat friend. He is used to living with docile cats. Earlier in his life, he lived successfully with a cat-friendly dog. Dom is reserved at first until he feels at home, then he will show you how much you mean to him with his affection and attention. Dom doesn’t like to be picked up and held, but he is willing to ride or curl up on your shoulders if you need a neck warmer while you watch TV or read. He prefers to sit in your lap, receiving your pets as he makes biscuits to make you extra comfy. Dom so much wants that home that will not go away, that person or family who will love him safely for the rest of his life, and the love and attention and affection that will make him the happiest boy alive again. Approximate Birthday: 05/12/2018 Adoption Fee: $75.00 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption. Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed. Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet this cat. Adoption Process
Those interested in adopting must fill out an online application, we then schedule an initial meeting with them and the animal, followed by a home visit. An adoption contract is required and the adoption fees range from $65 to $250.
