Meet Mindy (Adoption pending)
Mindy has a passion for toys that dangle from a wand, she likes to stretch vertically by using a cat scratching post and she delights in going on a hunt for catnip mice. Mindy loves loves loves kitty treats and the treats will help win over this shy kitty. She will love you, and you alone and keep all your secrets. Patience is a virtue. Once you earned Mindy's trust, she will shower you with love, be a great friend and follow you to bed for the night. Mindy will most likely be happiest in a quiet, stable home. She adores other cats and would do best in a home with a furry friend to follow and cuddle with. A cat that will accept Mindy as a kitty buddy is ideal! She has a blue coat with white and a little dark nose. As of September 2023, Mindy is 5 months old. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Adoption Process
Prospective adopter must fill out application/contract. Our adoption coordinator calls to verify that all other animals in the home are under vet care and utd on vaccinations, preventatives and are spayed/neutered. Home visits are done to verify fenced yard, shelter, etc. Our normal adoption fee is $50.00
