Meet Hunt (Adoption pending)
Hunt, known as Hunt Athalar in the fantasy novel series 'House of Sky and Breath' is a committed and focused kitty. His cool stare serves as the only warning to his opponents! Hunt's namesake is after a fallen angel, but he is as sweet as they come. Hunt loves nothing more than a nice comfy lap to snuggle on. He is a curious little boy and always has some investigating to do. Hunt will pounce his way into your heart, four paws first, with his boisterous curiosity and dear personality. His ideal home is with an individual, couple or family; Hunt is used to being around children. He is entertaining with littermates Azriel, Dorian and Rowan. Hunt gets along marvelously with adult cats, a cat-friendly dog and a bird. He is a Siamese with a seal point pattern. As of July 2024, Hunt is 4 months old. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Adoption Process
Prospective adopter must fill out application/contract. Our adoption coordinator calls to verify that all other animals in the home are under vet care and utd on vaccinations, preventatives and are spayed/neutered. Home visits are done to verify fenced yard, shelter, etc. Our normal adoption fee is $50.00
