Meet Fern

  Fern is a darling and precious kitty. Her favorite game is hide-and-seek. Fern likes to conceal herself somewhere in the home only to be found by her human companion or maybe one of her littermates! Her ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. Fern should be okay with other cats; she hangs out with littermates Chucky, Cole, Ozzy and Sabrina. She should do okay with a cat-friendly dog after a proper introduction. Fern is a brown tiger tabby with dark eyes. As of September 2023, Fern is 3.5 months old. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Adoption Process
Prospective adopter must fill out application/contract. Our adoption coordinator calls to verify that all other animals in the home are under vet care and utd on vaccinations, preventatives and are spayed/neutered. Home visits are done to verify fenced yard, shelter, etc. Our normal adoption fee is $50.00
