Meet Birdie
Birdie Was Brought To Us As A Surrender Because Her Owners Moved And Could Not Keep Her In Their Apartment. She Is a shyer gal, but feisty! She is a pterodactyl so we think with her extra claws, and feisty-ness, she would make a great hunter, or indoor and outdoor cat! The way to her heart is through her stomach. She loves temptations, and wet food. She is approximately 4 years old, and her adoption fee has been waived with an approved application. Meaning she is free to a good home! She doesn't like other cats AT ALL, and will let them know if they are too close to her domain. Same with dogs too! She would really appreciate being a bachelorette and having a relaxing person or couple take her into their loving arms. She is a stressed out kitty here in the shelter, so would need a little extra time to decompress in a home setting. She will let you know of her bounds! She is very vocal, and has body language that is easy to read! If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All cats are spayed/neutered (deposit required if too young), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. HSBC has a policy of not declawing, which is included on our Adoption Contract. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the cat of your choice. Please visit our website for additional information. The online application can be found at: https://hsburnettcty.org/adoption-guidelines/
