Meet Daffney

Daffney (4 years old) Daffney is a beautiful long-haired black cat with serene green eyes. Much of her coat has subtle smoky shadings of gray and brown mixed in with the black, which makes her a unique-looking young lady. When she came to us, she had thick mats in the luxurious coat, and so she had to have a haircut on her body, but that hair will grow in again better than ever. She seems to know that she is not only beautiful but that she shows to best advantage in a cushy bed next to the window. Not one to beg for attention, she looks imploringly at you until you feel compelled to approach her and give her the dignified pettings and praises that she deserves. Although she looks a bit imperious, she’s really a gentle girl who doesn’t ask too much from you. Just give her your devoted attention and numerous soft beds placed in the best places in the house, preferably where there might be a window and a bit of sunshine. She will return her thanks softly and with sweet appreciation.

Adoption Process
http://catscradleshelter.org/CCS/how-to-adopt/ An interview with the executive director is done prior to adoption. Not everyone is approved to adopt. Those that are approved have the cat for a 3 week trial period, where they can return cat and get a refund. Beyond that, we always want our cats back if the adoptive household can no longer care for it, but after 3 weeks, the adoption fee is not refunded. An adoption contract is completed prior to final adoption. Adoption fees are $118 including tax.
