Meet Berney

Berney was originally adopted from the Mower County Humane Society in about 2013.  She was returned because of a divorce situation.  Berney is a lovely, easy-going, siamese cross girl who does great with people.  The previous owners said she would probably be the happiest in a home where she is the only pet.  Here at MCHS, Berney has been a love.  She is spayed, current on shots, declawed and has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV.  She will be adopted as an indoor only cat and the adoption fee is $50.  You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS and a pet carrier is required at the time of adoption.  To meet Berney or any of our other cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  THANKS.

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
