Meet Gertie

George and Gertie are a couple of laid back senior sweeties looking for their forever home together! George, affectionately nicknamed Georges is the handsome 15-year-old creamsicle Frenchman, and Gertie is a beautiful 12-year-old tabby lady.George enjoys a quiet space where he can relax or just stroll about when he is in the mood. He loves to snuggle and is always happy to see his human caregivers. As a seasoned gentleman, he takes good care of his health by using fine clay litter only, and by eating Royal Canin SO Urinary Care wet food, mixed in with a little Fancy Feast to improve the taste for his fine French palate. George is just a very nice boy who grew up on the tough streets and deserves to live out his geriatric years in a low-activity home. Most of the time, he is content to just hang out and purr on a lap. This cute Creamsicle guy is chill, easygoing and relaxed. He doesn't require playtime.Gertie is a lovely, gentle, 12-year-old lady who is content just to be petted and gives wonderful kisses! This little sweetheart is low-maintenance and is mostly content just to hang out during the day and play a bit at night. She enjoys cat nip toys, teaser wands and watching nature television. Gertie is calm and very quiet. This gentle tabby is easygoing and low-key. She can be picked up and handled easily, like her bonded companion, George.George and Gertie currently reside together in their own, large foster room inside of a large house. They share the house with four humans who enjoy visiting with them frequently. These sweet kitties get along with some other cats, are not a fan of dogs, and will do fine with gentle children over 12.George and Gertie will be best suited to a quiet, calm environment where they can enjoy the slow peace that comes from easygoing days. They would be perfect for humans with stay-at-home jobs who enjoy a sweet companion cat in the vicinity.
