Meet Helois

Heloise and June were both left overnight in the Mower County Humane Society parking lot.  Both had obviously been pregnant.  Heloise is a younger cat--probably 1 to 2 years of age.  She was terrified when we first got her inside, but after a few hours, she calmed down and has shown that she likes people and doesn't mind other cats.  Heloise also is a polydactle kitty--extra toes on her front feet!  She is now spayed and current on shots.  She has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV.  We are looking for a loving, indoor only home for this sweet girl.  Adoption fee is $80 and a pet carrier is required at the time of adoption.  You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS.  Applications are at mchs.rescuegroups.org.  We will review and get in touch to set  up a meeting time.  Address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  Thanks.

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
