Who abandons a perfect cat like Freeda? No one at the shelter can imagine leaving this friendly playful tuxedo girl behind on the streets in the depths of Iowa winter. Incredibly, someone did, and Freeda was fortunate to be found and rescued by a neighbor who eventually brought her to us for care they couldn’t provide. Since moving into her new community room, Freeda has enjoyed looking out of the window and probably counting her lucky stars that she isn’t alone out there anymore! Freeda also loves playing with toys and shelter workers as well as stretching out on warm soft blankets. Freeda is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****
Adoption Process
application, adoption fees for dogs/puppies start at $150-$300. Cats/kittens are free will offering adoptions. Contracts for adoptions must be signed. All animals (unless too young) are altered prior to adoption. If not altered a deposit is paid and given back plus a rebate after the alteration has been performed.
