About

Meet Herb

dob 11/4/23 Rescued from a cat colony, Herb has come a long way from the shy boy he was to the lovable guy he is now who enjoys  being petted and having his belly rubbed, and he's quick to purr in response. He took a while to warm up, but now he loves to play with the people, kids, the other cats, and even the puppy in his TC Paw foster home. He isn't crazy about being picked up, and loud noises or a lot going on may make him hide, but most days you'll find him lounging on the cat bed in the sunny bay window or on the screened porch with his other buddies or his sister Peaches. He likes to chase his toy mouse around. He likes wet food.  In his new home, Herb will need an adjustment period. The best way to do that is to start talking to him, then talk while petting him.  Give Herb some time, and he will be a real sweetie. Herb's sister Peaches is in the foster home with him. They are bonded, and we feel they will need each other to adjust to a new home.  Please check Peaches' page too and see if you have room in your heart and home for this good-looking orange pair.
