Meet RUPPERT

Ruppert may be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you – underneath his calm demeanor is a super affectionate and sweet boy just waiting to find his forever family! At 7 years old, Ruppert has had a rough start in life, coming from horrible living conditions before being rescued. Life in the shelter has been stressful for him, and he spends most of his days snuggled under a blanket to feel safe. But in a calm, loving environment, Ruppert will truly thrive.Despite his rough past, Ruppert is a gentle soul who adores head rubs and gentle affection. He’s the kind of cat who will purr contentedly as soon as you show him some love. He's great with kids aged 8 and up and would be an ideal companion for a family who is patient and understanding while he settles in.Ruppert has lived with other cats before, so he might do well in a home with a feline friend, though his response to dogs is still unknown. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate cat who just needs a little time to trust, Ruppert could be the perfect fit for your family. Will you be the one to give this lovable boy the home he deserves?Interested? Come meet Ruppert today and give him the second chance he’s been waiting for!If you are interested in meeting Ruppert or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10am-4pm.Adoption fee is $25
