About

Meet Gertrude and Chloe

dob 5/23/17 Gertrude (calico) and  Chloe (tabby) and  lived since they were kittens with a loving owner who passed away recently, leaving them grieving and frightened by this huge change in their lives. They stayed alone in their condo for a while with family and neighbors checking in on them. Now they're in their TC Paw foster home, where they are slowly adjusting to a new life. The girls are timid but friendly, and they love to be petted and scratched around their ears. A place to hide makes them comfortable, like a box, cat tree, open cat carrier, or even a blanket or towel they can burrow under and feel safe. They're big girls. The friends who checked on them in the condo left out vast amounts of food, and the girls over-indulged. Their foster family is helping them return to a healthy weight with monitored feeding. They are gorgeous, long-haired cats who will need daily brushing to keep their luxurious coats beautiful. They like to be brushed, and they're good about nail trims too. Chloe and Gertrude are very attached to each other. They need to remain together. In a patient, quiet home with time to trust and be comfortable again, they will be splendid pets.
