About

Meet Trixie

dob 5/1/23 When I was a year old, I was found living on my own, suffering from stomatitis that made my mouth hurt. Eating was painful, and I weighed less than 5 pounds. TC Paw got me the help I needed, and now I eat like a champ and have steadily gained weight. I take medication that I'll need to stay on. My foster mom can show you how. I am very affectionate. I love to have my head scratched and to curl up on your chest with my head snuggled under your chin. I purr so loudly. One thing I don’t like, though, is having my belly rubbed. When I nap, I like to be under something - covers, a blanket, the couch, or the bed. My foster family calls me “cave kitty.” I think that’s cute. I am playful and active. My favorites are dangly toys and the red dot. Sometimes I get over-stimulated when I play, and I might nip or grab your arm and bunny kick. Active playtimes through the day should help with this. A home without little children is best for me. I like to be with people. When I first meet you, I run and hide, but I’ll come right out for attention as soon as I think it’s safe. I like the other cats in my foster home. We play together, and I would love a cat pal in my new home. I've warmed up to the family's dogs too. They're cat friendly, and I even rub up against them. In a quiet home with an experienced family that can read cat signs, I will be a terrific girlfriend.
