Meet Munster! A mellow ten-year-old Domestic Short Hair from Oak Hill, WV, whose orange buff tabby coat shines as warmly as his gentle heart. After the recent passing of his beloved pet parent—who he shared ten loving years with—Munster is now seeking a calm, caring home where he can continue offering quiet company, cozy leg wraps, and the occasional dash of playful mischief. This medium-sized fellow may be on the senior side, but don’t let his age fool you—Munster still has a kitten's spirit when it comes to chasing a crinkled foil ball or swatting at a feather on a string! His favorite pastime? Keep plastic safely out of sight... because he will try to eat it. It’s just one of those quirky habits that makes Munster, well, Munster! Though he starts out a little shy, Munster has a heart full of love for those who move at his pace. He’s especially fond of calm, adult environments and tends to do best with older children (10 and up) and adults who respect his space. He’s previously shared his home with other cats and, once he's comfortable, he enjoys a good feline frolic or nap near a buddy. He’s got all the basics covered—neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Health-wise, he’s in great shape and needs no special care, just a family who understands his gentle soul. As he's gotten older, Munster has become more affectionate, often staying close by like a little orange shadow. But fair warning: when he's had enough pets, he may give a playful "smack" or gentle nip to let you know. Munster was deeply bonded with his late guardian, and while he’s adjusting to change, what he needs now is a peaceful space filled with understanding, soft voices, and someone who doesn’t mind a feline who’s a bit particular but full of love.
