Amelia (9yrs) is going to be a bit reclusive/shy to start but once she gets to know you she will reward you with cuddles!  She gets along with other cats ok, usually prefers to keep to herself and chill out.   [Ameila shares a cage with and was in the same home as Sebastian (4yrs), they could go together, but they would be okay separating as well] Sebastian gets along with dogs and cats, and likes to talk. He is really smart and knows how to open doors. In order to assist with social distancing and to reduce risks of spreading COVID-19, we're asking that anyone interested in one of the cats at the Springfield Petsmart please complete our application online. We'll then reach out to you to share more information about the cat, ask any relevant questions, and make an appointment to meet the cat in person. Walk-ins to adoption fairs are welcome, but appointments will take priority.

Adoption Process
Our adopters fill out an application that screens for problems that may be detrimental to our cats and kittens. Once the adopter is approved we provide veterinary referrals which help with low cost spays or neuters for the kittens that are too young at the time of adoption. We are always available to help with behavioral issues that arise. We provide numerous information sheets in our adoption folders, plus the medical background of each cat. The only fees involved with our program are adoption fees that offset our veterinary bills.
