Lucky Dog Animal Rescue

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue hundreds of animals every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.

Currently Living at:  DC area foster home. Litter: Casey, Campbell, Clifford, Clyde, Cleo I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Campbell, a darling little tabby boy and I can’t wait to meet my new family. I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. Two kittens are a lot of fun and I happen to have a lot of brothers and sisters who are looking for a home too! What My Foster Says About Me: Campbell is such a confident, sweet, and spunky boy! He is super brave and curious in all the right ways.  He is not afraid of a crowded room and always greets his foster mom at the door.  He has a beautiful muted orange tabby coat with neat striping down his sides.  He likes all toys, but he absolutely loves to hug and carry soft catnip toys around around in his mouth, especially his little pink unicorn.  He is often the subject of his brother's hunting, but they wrestle so well together and like to stalk each other from behind things.  He has already made it to the top of the cat tree on his own and likes to explore.  He is a good eater and has an immense purr that doesn't match his small size. He is a total mama's boy and will jump right up to your lap for pets and affection and will even lick your face to show you he loves you.  He has done well meeting kids and other cats. He has been using both the horizontal scratchers and scratching posts on his cat tree. He is such a sweetheart and a truly awesome kitten!  Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption.  You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series. Due to this kitten’s young age, she/he has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 9/13/23. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date. A nonrefundable spay/neuter deposit will be collected if you would like Lucky Dog to pay for this animal to be altered at one of our low-cost partner vets.
