At only 7 months old, life has already asked a lot of her â but sheâs showing us every day how brave and resilient she really is.Fernsby may be a little shy at first, but since moving into our cat community room, sheâs made amazing progress in just a few days. She's beginning to explore, interact, and show glimpses of her curious and loving nature. Itâs clear she wants connection â sheâs just learning how to trust.With a calm, patient home and a family who can offer her time and love, we believe Fernsby will blossom into a truly wonderful companion. The quiet cats often have the biggest hearts â and we know Fernsby has so much love to give.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
