She’s shy at first — like, “I’m going to watch you from under the couch and judge your sock choices” shy — but give her time, and you’ll discover a gentle, affectionate soul who’s absolutely worth the wait.She’s dainty. She’s polite. She probably says “pardon me” in her head when she walks past the other cats. But once she feels safe? Oh, honey. She blossoms. Expect head bonks, soft purrs, and slow blinks that say, “You may pet me now, peasant.”Walnut isn’t here for chaos — she’s here for calm vibes, gentle humans, and a cozy corner to feel safe in. If you’ve got patience, a quiet home, and maybe a blanket or two she can claim as her own, Walnut just might decide you’re her person.Adopt Walnut – a shy little treasure who turns into a cuddle queen when the timing is just right.

Adoption Process
You must be 21 years of age or older. The adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs and $85 for cats the fee covers vaccinations and spay/neuter, as well as a microchip that comes with a lifetime membership. Should you want to donate more it will be gratefully accepted! A securely fenced yard is required. If your yard is not fenced please provide an description of your property. Dogs must be indoor only homes. No exceptions.The use of chains and runners is not permitted. Dogs being kept outdoors only or in outdoor kennels is also not permitted. You must fill out our online adoption application for dogs or cats A vet check will be conducted, this may include checking out your residence, a background check, etc. All of your animals must be spayed/neutered, on monthly heartworm prevention and up to date on all vaccinations. No exceptions. You must uphold state laws. If you rent a letter from your landlord showing approval will be required. Cats will not be declawed. Indoor homes only, indoor outdoor homes considered on case by case basis depending on the cat and location of the home. You must sign and abide by our adoption contract. You agree to provide lots of tender loving care.
