** Meet Tonka: Your Future Feline Friend! ** Are you ready to open your heart and home to a sweet, gentle soul? Meet Tonka, a charming adult male cat with stunning white fur adorned with beautiful brown tabby spots. At 25 lbs (down from 30), Tonka is on a journey to a healthier weight, and he needs a dedicated adopter to help him reach his goals! **About Tonka:** - **Age:** Adult - **Weight:** 25 lbs (needs to lose more) - **Personality:** Mild-mannered and a bit of a big chicken! Tonka is easily startled by unknown voices or noises, often retreating to his favorite cubby for safety. But don’t let that fool you—he’s also sweet, amusing, and loves to explore, especially the laundry room! - **Special Needs:** Tonka requires reduced-calorie food and an extra-large litter box. He thrives in a calm environment as an only pet, so no dogs, please! He’s best suited for a home with older children who can respect his gentle nature. **Fun Facts:** - Tonka has a unique story; he was surrendered to the Alexandria shelter after his owner’s wife passed away. He’s looking for a loving forever home where he can feel safe and cherished. - He loves being brushed and needs daily grooming to keep his coat looking its best. - His favorite time of day? Bedtime! Tonka lives for his tablespoon of canned food before settling in for the night. **Important Notes:** - Tonka is an indoor-only cat, and declawing is prohibited by contract. - He needs an adopter who is committed to helping him achieve a healthy weight and providing him with the love and care he deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who will bring joy and laughter into your life, Tonka is the perfect match! ❤️ **Interested in adopting Tonka?** Contact us today to learn more about this lovable guy and how you can make him a part of your family!
