It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Priscilla! Priscilla is a petite 2-year-old tabby who weighs just 7.5 lbs. She came to ITV after Hopkins County Animal Control suffered storm damage and has been settling in beautifully. Priscilla currently resides in our free-roam cat room at the Evansville location, where she enjoys the company of other cats and the comfort of a calm, cozy space.With her gentle nature and sweet spirit, Priscilla is ready to find a forever home where she can feel safe and loved.Apply to adopt at ITVrescue.org!All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
