It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Lil Ma – Sweet and Resilient Lil Ma is a 2-year-old female tabby weighing just 7 lbs, but she’s full of quiet charm. She came to ITV after Hopkins County Animal Control suffered storm damage, and she’s been a calm and gentle presence ever since.Lil Ma currently resides in the free roam cat room at our Evansville location, where she gets along well with the other feline residents. She's a petite beauty with a soft heart, ready to bring a sense of peace and love to her forever home. Available at Evansville Apply to adopt at ITVrescue.orgGive Lil Ma the safe, loving home she deserves.All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
