It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Kendra – Sweet, Petite, and Full of Charm Kendra is a 1-year-old female tabby who weighs just 6 lbs, but her personality is anything but small! She came to ITV after Hopkins County Animal Control suffered storm damage and has since made herself right at home in our free-roam cat room at the Evansville location.Kendra is a gentle and curious girl who enjoys the company of other cats and loves exploring her surroundings. Her sweet nature and delicate size make her an ideal companion for someone looking for a loving, low-key feline friend. Resides at our Evansville location Apply to adopt at ITVrescue.orgGive this little survivor the forever home she deserves!All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
