It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Brownie Caramel came into ITV’s care after Hopkins County Animal Control suffered storm damage, and she’s been winning hearts ever since.Now residing at our Evansville location, Brownie Caramel is looking for a cozy, loving home to call her own. With her gentle nature and charming good looks, she’s sure to be the perfect addition to the right family.Ready to meet your new best friend?Apply to adopt Brownie Caramel at ITVrescue.org!All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
