Meet Precious (11)

Precious was surrendered to us due to her Previous Owner’s health condition. She’s a bit shy around people, but once it’s quiet she starts to come out of her shell and is super affectionate and playful ! She can get startled easily by loud noises, but always knows where her safe spot is and will come out once everything has calmed down. Even though she’s 11 years old, that doesn't stop Precious from being extremely playful when she’s out and about. She loves running around the place and bringing her toys to her water bowl to get them a drink. She does fine with other cats, but would probably be better by herself or only one other cat. Although Precious is not on any type of medications, she does have allergy-like symptoms. This could cause her to pull chunks of fur out, leading to Hairballs, and rubbing her face until there is just skin. Her Previous Owner took her to get Regular Steroid shots to mitigate this. While doctors are unsure if it’s allergies or anxiety as a causation for this behavior, we’re hopeful that a nice, calm environment will help curb these habits of hers.

Adoption Process
Must come in and meet with adoption counselor. All pets at home must be UTD on shots and fixed. Application and contract will be filled out at Catio. We also call vets for a vet reference.

Look for other cats for adoption!
