Meet Gus ~ Your gentle explorer with a heart of gold! Looking for a kitten who brings the pawfect balance of playful curiosity and sweet, snuggly charm? Gus is your guy! At just 11 weeks old, this little adventurer loves to explore new spaces, chase his favorite toys, and then cozy up for a nap in a warm, sunny spot. Gus has a calm, easy going purrsonality that makes him a total joy to be around. He's brave but thoughtful, curious but cuddly ~ and always ready for a gentle head scratch and treat. Gus is currently in a foster home w/ his sister Winnie, and the two have shared lots of pounces, window-watching, and naptime snuggles. If you're looking for a kitten who will bring peaceful energy and loving companionship into your life, Gus is the pawfect little gentleman to do just that. Come meet him~you'll fall in love in no time! Siblings born 03/05/2025 Blair (F); Winnie (F); Bentley (M); Gus (M). These siblings entered the care of Hope via Iowa Stars for Animals who was collaborating with and advocate in a small town in Iowa. These kittens were born to a stray mom but born inside and momma is going to be TNR'd via a TNR group in that town.  Adoption fee is $125.00 which includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines/cares, and microchip. 2 kitten special  $200.00 If you would like to meet, /please complete an online application that can be found at: https://hopeanimalrescueofiowa.duplie.com/forms/198/hope-cat--application Gus is not eligible for adoption beyond minutes of Des Moines so that he can continue to complete his rescue vetting which includes neuter appt at one of our vet partners in central Iowa in July. Hope pays for the appt but the adoptor is responsible for taking to and from the appt. There is no rescheduling these appts.  

Adoption Process
We require an application be completed, do home visits and check references. Have meet and greets with children and other pets. We require animals be returned to us if circumstances change. We require a signed adoption contract. We do not allow our animals to be kept outdoors. $100 Senior Dog (9+ years old) $200 Adult Dog $225 Puppy $30 Senior Cat (10+ years old) $60 Adult Cat $100 Kitten (or 2 for $150) Purebred/Designer dog adoption fees will be determined on case by case basis dependent on finders fees, vetting costs and transporting fees. Each purebreds breed will determine baseline fee.
