$$125Lemon was found in Iowa City eating at a caretaker's community cat feeding station in January. Just a sweet little kitten who was clearly out of her element. She smelled like an engine and was bleeding from her tail which had been partially degloved. Nobody appeared to be looking for her but thankfully her finder took her in and is now fostering her. She had her tail partially amputated and is doing great! She is ready to find her forever home!
Adoption Process
Pets are altered, vaccinated and microchipped before adoption. Adopters must complete an application and contract and pay fee (which varies based on age and type of animal). They also must provide references and pass a home visit.
