Mayday! Mayday! Mayday is in need of his forever home! Mayday's story begins with a call for help... quite literally. This brave young boy was found in a snare trap with an injured paw, and thanks to a kind rescuer and some veterinary care, Mayday was able to walk away from this. He did however lose a few toe beans... but don't tell him that - he is far too busy chasing toys, exploring with curiosity, and soaking up all the love he can find. Mayday is a young, spirited kitty with a huge heart. Despite the pain he went through, he remains playful, affectionate, and sweeter than ever. He currently lives with other cats and would do well with another young and playful kitty. He has not yet been dog tested at this time. If you are looking for a cat that will remind you daily how beautiful some resilience can be, Mayday is your guy! Mayday's adoption fee is $85 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FIV/FeLV test. Mayday is looking for an indoor only home with adopters who have a history of having kept their pets altered, indoors, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. Our adoption process includes a background check, home visit, and a vet check. Please submit an adoption application for consideration through our website, adopthope.org.
Adoption Process
Prior to adoption, all of our dogs have been tested for heartworm, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit.
The adoption fee for dogs and puppies varies.
Prior to adoption, our cats have been tested for feline leukemia, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. If at the time of adoption, the kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, an agreed upon time frame will be set for when this procedure is to be done. Spaying or neutering is not an optional procedure, it is required of all animals we rescue.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens varies.
